A Few Accolades And Reviews
NewCoastRecords has released Introspective, the eighth full length album by Bruce Guynn. “One of the pioneers of California’s Redwood Coast Sound,” Essentially Pop, describes Guynn, Introspective “a journey through life’s experiences with the power of music and poetry to guide us. The creative and recording process was a time of musical growth on all levels. Every instrument I played was an opportunity to advance as a musician creating the parts that were best for the song in prosody, and harmony with the words emanating from my heart, mind, and memories.
“Introspective also concerns living in today’s divisive times calling for unity with the hope people can put their differences aside and appreciate the humanity in all of us. As one listener recently shared: ‘Too Many Moons’ ‘is a n intriguing song, very spiritual. It’s speaking in ancient terms to the world today.’
“I wrote and created this album because music brings people together, takes us further in search for common ground. Over the years I have had a direct connection with so many of you. I see you as my community, and many have shared with me how the music helped them in difficult times, or just made them feel better. That knowledge gave me the true reason to make and share the music.”
On the ‘INTROSPECTIVE Album Review Show, (The David Bowers Presents Award Show) the well known interviewers said about Bruce’s new album, “We get lots of very creative people on this show, but once in a while we get someone like you who is just on another level. We have heard five songs for the first time and love them. Can’t wait to hear the rest”.
“There isn’t enough being said about Bruce Guynn’s music at the moment, and if you haven’t already listened to “Time Will Tell,” I think giving it a spin this month will give you a good idea as to why I’m game for more of his work.”- Too Much Love Magazine
“A magnetic single from a deeply talented singer and composer in Bruce Guynn,
‘Time Will Tell’ has made me very excited to hear what other treasures the alternative singer/songwriter beat is going to produce on the west coast this summer.”
